Three decades of complex ICT delivery, now applied to AI

The track record

Ahelia brings 30+ years of complex ICT delivery: enterprise networks, telecoms, intelligent transport, smart cities and national digital platforms, carried through every stage from requirements analysis and business process design to development, certification and operation. That experience now runs on one engine: AI agents doing the production work, with three decades of delivery judgment directing them.

The record is concrete. Ahelia's founder, Mihail-Ernesto Sanabria Mihaylov, led the transformation of business processes into software requirements for the automated fare collection system of a European capital: 1,300+ vehicles and 3 metro lines, 300,000 new public transport users in the first 5 months, and certification of the system as a fiscal sales-management system with the national revenue agency. In an advisory role for a national road agency he prepared a board-level digital transformation blueprint, a draft national strategy for intelligent transport systems and a draft law with its impact assessment, delivered as advice, not as adopted acts. For a national postal operator he led a team of 5 experts through a full digital transformation strategy. Across four international tower companies he helped organize the digitization of roughly 5,000 telecom infrastructure sites into digital twins.

Before that came the operator and vendor years: IT product management at Huawei Technologies, founding and running several ICT companies, delivering the largest WiMAX network in Bulgaria as chief executive, and taking part in one of Europe's first IPTV projects. Twenty-plus years of that time were spent in management, building and directing technical and commercial teams of up to 25 people.

The most recent chapter applies that same delivery discipline to AI as daily practice, not as a side interest. For the Bulgarian Road Infrastructure Agency (RIA), ahelia turned a national road-roughness survey's raw and partly broken field data into engineering-grade condition reports, a prioritized repair programme and an interactive map that agency staff open with a double click. And with legalize-bg, it built a queryable knowledge base of roughly 3,600 Bulgarian legislative acts with full amendment history, served live to AI tools.

The tempo behind that chapter is measured, not remembered: since January 2026, 44 projects in 139 working days, counted from repository history. Every one of them, named or anonymized, is a line in the delivery ledger.

How we work

Every engagement gets the same senior attention that produced the record above: the person who scoped your project is the person who delivers it, directing AI agents that do the production work in parallel. That is why a small firm ships national-scale systems in weeks. No handoffs to juniors, no account layers.

Ahelia works independently and in partnership with Theoremus and CNS.
