Accessibility Statement

Last updated: [set at launch]

AHELIA CONSULTING EOOD is committed to making the ahelia.com website accessible to the widest possible range of users, including people with disabilities. This statement describes our commitment, the standard we apply, what we know falls short, and how to reach us with feedback.

Target standard and conformance status

We aim for conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2, conformance level AA, across the whole site.

Conformance status as of the date stated below: [set at launch, based on the launch evaluation: conformant / partially conformant]. We state the status that the evaluation supports, not an aspiration. This statement covers ahelia.com and all of its pages.

Legal basis

The Web Accessibility Directive and the European Accessibility Act do not apply directly to this website, which is operated by a private company providing services to business clients. We adopt WCAG 2.2 level AA voluntarily as our accessibility standard, because accessibility is part of how we build and because our readers include public-sector evaluators who rightly look for it.

Known limitations

[Placeholder: to be filled at launch from the results of the launch evaluation. List each known limitation honestly, with a target date to close it where one exists. If the evaluation finds no significant issues, state that, and note that the statement will be updated after each subsequent audit.]

Technical measures

To achieve accessibility we apply the following measures:

  • Semantic HTML for correct content structure and a consistent heading hierarchy.
  • Color contrast of at least 4.5:1 for normal text and at least 3:1 for large text and interface components.
  • Full keyboard navigation with a visible focus indicator.
  • Accessible forms with labels above fields, clear error messages, and screen-reader compatibility.
  • A declared language on every page.
  • Respect for the prefers-reduced-motion system setting; animations and count-ups are disabled when it is set.
  • Section navigation that works without JavaScript.
  • No automatic playback of audio or video.

Testing

We run automated accessibility testing with axe-core in our build pipeline, with zero serious or critical findings required for a release, complemented by manual keyboard and screen-reader testing.
