Stampit Smart Card Suite for macOS

Context

Bulgarian qualified electronic signatures are mandatory for filings with banks, registers, and state portals, and on macOS they break constantly: middleware conflicts, browser changes, and every system update can silently kill the card. Professionals are left replugging tokens and reinstalling drivers with no way to see what is actually wrong.

What we built

A finished macOS product that makes smart-card signatures from a major Bulgarian qualified certificate issuer work reliably in Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Adobe Acrobat, and the Commercial Register portal. It patches the open-source middleware that could not read these cards, adds a self-healing background service that repairs the token after reboots and system updates, and ships as a one-click installer with a single diagnostic command reporting the health of every layer, with a concrete remedy. It is an independent compatibility suite, not affiliated with or endorsed by the card issuer.
